Recipe to Pasta pesto at home Ingredients 300g/ 350g pasta of your choice (corkscrew pasta or penne pasta recommended) Salt (as per your requirement) ¾ cup water for cooking pasta Cheese (yak cheese are a die for) Garlic 4-5 cloves Virgin olive oil (as required) Black pepper (grounded) Fresh basil leaves (home grown or store-bought green Tulsi) ¼ cup cashew nut You can find the ingredients mentioned on this very website and have it delivered to you at the comfort of your home. The most important requirement to cooking a good pasta is LOVE, seriously I can’t remember the last time I cooked pasta and I was still sad or angry. Pasta its own twisted magic in bringing things together. So, lets cook. Step 1 Boil your water in a pot and add salt to it Add your pasta in the boiling water and let it simmer. Don’t stir the pasta too much you might break it apart You can try and cut the pasta clean with your spatula as a test to see its cooked. Step 2 Wash your basil leaves with cold water and rinse them Add the peeled garlic cloves, 2 cup basil leaves, 6 tbsp virgin olive oil, ¼ cup cashew nuts and salt to a blender and let it swill until it turns into a paste Let the blend rest Step 3 In a big bowl add the cooked pasta with only 4 tbsp of the pasta water Add the pesto paste Mix them altogether with kindness, be gentle with it Plate them and add grated cheese on top of it (parmesan or yak cheese recommended)
